What to check before you buy

Does it fit your screen?

The reMarkable 2, Scribe, Manta and Move each have a different shape. A file made for one device shows wide margins or tiny tabs on another. Look for your exact model in the listing, not just the word "compatible."

Where are the tabs?

The reMarkable toolbar sits on the left, and left-handed mode moves it right. If the tabs share a side with the toolbar, you'll close the toolbar every time you turn the page.

One page a day or two?

One page a day keeps the file small. Two pages put your notes next to the day they belong to. If you take a lot of meeting notes, choose two.

How big is the file?

E-ink tablets open large PDFs slowly, so 2,000 pages can cost you speed. Buy only the sections you'll use.
