How we review
Where our information comes from, and what the scores mean.
Where the information comes from
We start with the listing: page count, sections, supported devices, included versions and price. When a listing leaves something out, we say so instead of guessing. Vague listings lose points for that reason.
We take prices from each listing on the date in the footer. Most Etsy planners are almost always on sale, so we show both the sale price and the regular price.
The four scores
- Layout
- Does the page plan support a full year of use? We look for room each day, a weekly view, and space for notes, meetings and goals.
- Navigation
- How many taps it takes to reach any page, and whether the tabs stay clear of the toolbar.
- Device fit
- Whether the maker designed the file for your screen's shape and resolution or resized it from another device.
- Value
- What you get for the price, including extra years and versions.
The overall score isn't a simple average. Layout and device fit count more, because you notice them every day.
Creator submissions
Any template maker can submit a template. We check the link, list it in search as a submission, and may choose it for a full review. No one can pay for a review or a better score.
Links
Store links are plain links. If that changes, for example through an affiliate program, we'll say so here and next to each link.
